PUBLIC NOTICE

Planning and Development Act 2005

Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015

Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Dardanup has prepared Amendment No. 1 to Local Planning Scheme No. 9.

The purpose of the amendment is to:

1. Rezone lot 564 Garvey Road, Dardanup West from the “Rural” zone to the “Rural Residential”.
2. Amending the scheme map accordingly.

The amendment documents are available for inspection at the Council Offices:

• 3 Little Street, Dardanup, and
• 1 Council Drive, Eaton, and
• On the Shire’s website at: https://www.dardanup.wa.gov.au/publicnotices/

Written submissions on the amendment may be lodged in the following ways:

• By post to: Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Dardanup, PO Box 7016, Eaton WA 6232
• By email to: submissions@dardanup.wa.gov.au
• Delivered in person to the Shire of Dardanup Administration Offices listed above.

Submissions may be made on the proposal until 4.00pm on Friday 30 January 2026.

Submissions must include the amendment number, the property affected (if applicable), and the name and contact details of the submitter.

When making a submission please be aware that your name and address details may be included in a Council report which is available to the public.  Please also note that submissions may be subject to applications for access under the Freedom of Information Act 1992.

All submissions will be considered by Council and forwarded to the Western Australian Planning Commission.
