The Shire of Dardanup Business Support Program is designed to support the growth, resilience and long-term success of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs across the Shire).

The program brings local businesses together and provides practical support, information and opportunities to help businesses adapt, grow and thrive.

Delivered by the Shire of Dardanup, the program focuses on four key areas:

• Communications
• Recognition
• Training, and
• Funding.

This ensures businesses have access to the right information, skills, networks and opportunities at the right time.

What the program includes

Communications
Stay connected and informed through regular business communications, including a quarterly Business Support e-newsletter featuring funding opportunities, regulatory updates, training, events and local success stories. This webpage will also act as a central hub for business resources, updates and upcoming activities.

Recognition
The program celebrates local business success by promoting quarterly Business Spotlight stories, supporting media features and recognising innovation and community contribution through initiatives such as the Annual Business Excellence Awards.

Training and networking
Businesses will have access to free or subsidised training and workshops delivered in partnership with regional organisations. Topics may include digital marketing, cyber security, financial management and other priority areas, along with opportunities to attend networking events and business forums including regular Shire of Dardanup/Bunbury Chamber of Commerce business events. The program helps businesses navigate funding opportunities by sharing up-to-date information on local, state and federal grants, along with guidance to strengthen applications and improve success rates.
