Community Meetings

The Shire of Dardanup hosts regular Community Meetings as part of its ongoing commitment to meaningful engagement, guided by its Community Engagement Policy and Framework.

These meetings are open to all, providing a direct platform for two-way communication between Council and the community, strengthening connections and collaboration.

While elected Councillors play a vital role in representing community interests, there is a growing expectation for residents to have more direct input into Council priorities.

Greater transparency and engagement aren’t just expected — they're essential for effective governance. Strong community involvement leads to better strategic planning, improved service delivery, and greater public trust and support.

The Shire's 2026 Community Meeting dates are:

Eaton:
Monday, 18 May 2026.
Venue: Eaton Sports Pavilion (Boomers Club).
Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Dardanup:
Tuesday, 19 May 2026.
Venue: Dardanup Hall, 19 Ferguson Road, Dardanup.
Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Ferguson Valley:
Monday, 25 May 2026.
Venue: Ferguson Hall, 988 Ferguson Road, Ferguson Valley.
Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Burekup: Tuesday, 26 May 2026.
Venue: Burekup Country Club, Russell Road, Burekup.
Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
