Social and community groups are a great way to meet people, learn new skills, and share your experiences. Shire of Dardanup Library Services has a great range of community and social groups meeting regularly at both Eaton and Dardanup.

Dardanup Library:

Knits and Knots

Looking for ways to meet new people and complete your own knitting or crocheting projects in the company of fellow knitters? Then look no further.

Our Knits and Knots group meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 1-3pm at the Dardanup Library. It is the perfect way to learn new techniques, exchange ideas or find inspiration for your next project.

Both beginners and experienced knitters are welcome so why not come along and join the fun.

Mahjong

Whether you’re new to Mahjong or a long-time player, this social group offers a welcoming space to play, connect, and have fun together.

They meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month 1-4pm at Dardanup Library .

Lions Lego

Join our Adult LEGO® Social Club to borrow kits, enjoy hands-on building, connect with fellow LEGO® fans, and share creativity.

They meet every Wednesday morning 10am-12pm  .

Eaton Community Library:

Knitted Knockers 

Join our Knitted Knockers Social Group to knit together, share skills, and support those impacted by breast cancer in a welcoming, social space.

Thet meet at the Eaton Community Library on the third Monday of the month. 

Knitting for a Cause 

Knitting for a Cause welcomes knitters and crocheters of all skill levels to come together and share meaningful projects. Learn new patterns, exchange ideas, and connect with others who are happy to share their knowledge. Beginners and experienced makers alike are warmly welcomed. This is a group where community helps community, come along and discover how you're knitting or crocheting can make a real difference.

They meet on the first Monday of the month 10am-12pm.

Machine Knitters Connect and Share 

Join our Machine Knitters Connect and Share Social Group to exchange ideas, build skills, and connect with fellow machine knitters.

They meet on the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Make-It-Space. 

Bridge 

Without a doubt, bridge is one of the greatest card games ever. Our bridge lovers think of it as a life-long friend that enables you to make lifelong friends.

From the four phases of playing a bridge hand to some expert advice on bidding, Eaton Community Library’s bridge groups will help you to develop your skills in the game, meet new friends, and test your abilities in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Our bridge group meet every Thursday 1-4pm.

Book Lovers

Do you love reading? Are you someone who enjoys getting into the themes of a novel and exploring the concepts and characters. Great news! Book Lovers is for you!

Book Lovers meet on the third Friday monthly at Eaton Community Library so why not come along and enjoy talking about your favourite novel with like-minded people in a relaxed environment.

Table Top Adventures

This is a monthly Dungeons and Dragons group created by D Connect.

The group is designed to be accessible and inclusive, with extra support built in from the start.

We use storytelling and roleplaying to support self-advocacy, confidence, and connection in a way that feels fun, safe, and low pressure.

This is not a competitive game, it's about learning, trying things out, and supporting each other.

Young Adults Book Club - The Peppy Project

Whether you’re fiercely competitive or just here for a laugh, this is a brilliant way to spend a Thursday evening. Team up with new people, flex your vocabulary, and discover your next read along the way.

No set reading list, no pressure. Just games, snacks, and great company with other 18-30 year olds. Fidget toys provided.
