The Shire of Dardanup will enter its Restricted Burning Period from Saturday, 11 April to Saturday, 25 April 2026, subject to extension. This means residents can obtain a permit for controlled burning. For more information click here.

These six representatives will serve the Dardanup community alongside current Councillors Mark Hutchinson, Stacey Gillespie, and Tony Jenour.
Newly elected Councillors will be officially sworn in at the Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, 22 October at 6pm.
The Shire extends its thanks to all candidates for nominating and contributing to the democratic process.
Local government elections are held on the third Saturday in October every two years. The next election will be held in October 2025.
The Shire of Dardanup holds postal elections, which are conducted on its behalf by the Western Australian Electoral Commission.
