The Mick Bennett Make-It Space hosts a variety of FREE events, workshops, member sessions and meet-ups.

Maker Lab: Our Maker Lab sessions are open sessions where everyone is welcome. Members can work on their own projects  or meet-up with other enthusiasts to spark ideas and share knowledge.

Our workshops are carefully crafted to spark curiosity and deepen technical skills, particularly in STEM-related disciplines.

Our targeted and limited place workshops offer more in-depth learning and skill building. Workshops may be delivered in series format to maximise learning outcomes, we encourage participants to attend all in the series to get the most benefit. Workshop Facilitators Wanted!

Keen to share your creative skills, technical knowledge, obsession with STEM, passion for making?

What we’re looking for …

We need STEM workshop facilitators* to demonstrate, educate and inspire our community. We’re looking for hands-on, practical and professional workshops where participants gain real knowledge and skills to take with them on their maker journey. We have members who don’t know where to start using our equipment and software. They need a little help and guidance to get them on their way.
