The opportunity:
- Full-time – 5-year performance based contract.
- Level 10 – salary package valued up to $167,000 including cash component, superannuation and full private use of a Council vehicle.
- Located at our Eaton Administration Centre.
The Shire of Dardanup is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Assets to join our Infrastructure Directorate. This pivotal role will oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of the Shire’s asset portfolio, ensuring sustainable and efficient service delivery to our community.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain and enhance the Shire’s infrastructure asset management systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.
- Establish and monitor service levels, asset conditions, and intervention triggers to balance financial goals with community needs.
- Ensure compliance and quality of works affecting Shire infrastructure, maintaining standards and extending asset life.
- Engage with stakeholders including the public, developers, and authorities on matters related to Council-built infrastructure.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications (or working towards) in Civil Engineering or Asset Management, or extensive experience in lifecycle management of roads, drainage, and public infrastructure.
- Proven ability to implement asset management standards and interpret financial data to develop long-term strategies and plans.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management, time management, and continuous improvement capabilities, with advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS.
