Spring clean comes early to Gnomesville

We like to keep things neat and tidy for the 10,000 or so little people who call Gnomesville home so we’ll have clean-up crews moving in for two days in March to whistle while they work.

If you own a gnome at Gnomesville – particularly if you have very a special one there – you might like to pop in and check on them.

During our clean-up, broken and badly damaged gnomes will be removed while others may be gently relocated to a new position.

The clean-up will take place on Monday, 13 March and Tuesday, 14 March. If you are planning a visit to Gnomesville one day soon, can we politely suggest you avoid these two days which will allow our teams to complete their work efficiently.

General clean-up works are being carried out by workers from Bunbury Regional Prison under a partnership between the Shire of Dardanup and the Department of Corrective Services, Bunbury Regional Prison – Pre Release Unit Section 95 Prisoner program.

If you haven’t been to Gnomesville in some time, we’ve completed several upgrades recently under our Gnomesville Master Plan including new public toilets, boardwalks, signage and public art.

You can read more about Gnomesville on this dedicated page of our website.
