Safety improvements for Gardiner Street, Burekup

Consultation with our Burekup residents identified a need for road safety improvements to Gardiner Street.

Development of a solution was included the Burekup Community Facilities Plan.

We’ve been liaising with Main Roads WA on the best approach, resulting in a recommendation for installation of speed cushions given the location’s low speed and low traffic volumes.

The speed cushions plus additional signage will be installed in April over three days and road users will encounter traffic management during this time.
