An upgrade of the Eaton Drive/Peninsula Lakes Drive intersection will get underway from Monday, 13 June (weather dependent) by a Shire of Dardanup contractor.

The project will take approximately eight weeks and road users in the area will encounter traffic management.

This will include full road closure between 7.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday with entry for local residents only.  A detour will be in place at Glenhuon Boulevard for all other traffic.

The intersection upgrade is the final stage of an Eaton Drive expansion project which saw the addition last year of a southbound lane to the northern section.

The Peninsula Lakes intersection upgrade will include installation of new drainage and re-surfacing plus new paving and paths.

Upgrades to the northern section of Eaton Drive form part of a longterm, holistic plan to manage projected increases in local traffic with the detail on further intersection upgrades under consideration in consultation with Main Roads WA.
