Repair works to the Dardanup Office will start this Monday, 16 June 2025 – a positive step forward for a much-loved local facility.
In December 2024, the building was damaged after a vehicle struck the wall, causing significant structural issues. After a lengthy eight-month wait to secure a contractor due to availability and quoting delays, we’re finally ready to begin repairs.
What’s happening?
The damaged brickwork around the front window and small section to the side of the building will be rebuilt. The affected eaves and carpets in this front room will be replaced. The works are expected to take between 2–3 weeks.
Will access be affected?
No – the office and library will remain open, with normal access through the main entrance.
This building is an important part of the Dardanup community, and the Shire is committed to ensuring it remains safe, functional and welcoming.
Thank you for your patience while we worked behind the scenes to get this moving. Please take care when visiting the office while works are underway.
We’ll keep you updated as progress continues!

The Dardanup Office repair works will start on Monday and are expected to be completed
within 2-3 weeks.
