• Permanent full-time 76 hours per fortnight with monthly RDO or nine-day fortnight option.
• Level 8/9 - salary range $100,145 - $113,113 per annum depending upon qualifications & experience.*

Join our Information Services team in a pivotal senior technical role responsible for shaping, delivering and enhancing the Shire’s data, integration and GIS capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled technical professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges and influencing organisation-wide outcomes.

You will provide leadership, architectural guidance and hands‑on delivery across data services, integrations, API development and GIS platforms. Your work will help ensure the Shire's systems are connected, reliable and secure—and that data is used as a strategic asset to improve services for our community.

Key duties include:

• Designing and maintaining the Shire’s data and integration architecture, including data domains, sources of truth and integration patterns.
• Delivering high‑quality integrations, APIs and data services across core business systems (ERP, GIS and corporate applications).
• Ensuring compliance with data governance, security and legislative frameworks.
• Maintaining and enhancing GIS as a core enterprise data capability and ensuring spatial data effectively integrates with corporate systems.
• Supporting the organisation to access and use data effectively, including translation of business needs into sustainable technical solutions.
• Identifying continual improvement opportunities to strengthen data quality, integration effectiveness and organisational maturity in data use.
