The opportunity:
- Immediate start.
- Permanent full-time 76 hours per fortnight with nine-day fortnight.
- Salary range $78,197 - $84,288 per annum depending upon qualifications and experience.*
- Located at our Waterloo Operation Depot.
We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our Operations Team.
Tasks will include undertaking maintenance and minor construction works of the Shire’s civil infrastructure, including rural and urban roads, verges, footpaths and drains. If you’re looking for a secure job with a variety of projects, and you have prior experience operating a range of plant and equipment, we’d love to hear from you!
What we are looking for:
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or Civil Construction Plant Operations (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience operating a range of plant such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, rollers and graders.
- Experience in civil construction, drainage, concreting, bitumen and general road maintenance work.
- Current or willing to obtain Traffic Management, White Card, First Aid, and Chainsaw Operator certifications.
- A current HR class motor vehicle licence.
