The opportunity:
- Part-time 17 hours per week (across a minimum of 3 days).
- Level 5 – $40.76 – $42.67 per hour* dependent on skills and experience.
- Located at the Eaton Recreation Centre.

Join the Shire of Dardanup's Communications and Marketing team and take the lead in promoting one of the South West's premier recreation facilities.
This role is dedicated to the Eaton Recreation Centre and focuses on driving memberships, program participation and community and member engagement through effective marketing and promotion.
Working closely with Recreation Centre staff, you'll develop and deliver campaigns that showcase everything the Centre has to offer, from fitness and recreation programs to events, group fitness classes and community initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Plan, deliver and evaluate marketing campaigns that drive membership growth, participation and customer retention.
- Create and manage engaging content across social media, website, email and digital marketing channels.
- Design high-quality promotional materials, campaign assets and advertising.
- Develop and coordinate advertising across a range of digital, print and community channels.
- Support the promotion of health and fitness, sport and recreation and children’s programs, services and events.
- Work closely with Recreation Centre staff to identify opportunities and deliver targeted marketing initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to improve future marketing outcomes.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and profile of the Eaton Recreation Centre within the community.
About you:
- Experience in marketing, communications or a similar role.
- Strong content creation, storytelling and copywriting skills.
- Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar platforms.
- Experience managing social media and digital marketing channels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
- A proactive and creative approach to solving problems and generating ideas.
- Experience in recreation, fitness, leisure or membership-based organisations is desirable, but not essential.
