Watson Reserve Footbridge replacement, temporary closure

The Watson Reserve Footbridge in Eaton will be temporarily closed for around six weeks from Friday, 17 April while replacement works are carried out.

The works are being undertaken by AE Hoskins Building Services and involve replacing the existing timber footbridge.

What to expect:

  • The footbridge will be closed from Friday, 17 April for approximately six weeks.
  • Access along the footbridge from the Pratt Road Lookout through to Watson Reserve will not be available during this time.
  • Signage and site fencing will be in place.
  • For your own safety, please do not enter the works area.

If you're planning to use this path, please plan ahead and follow all signage while works are underway.
