The Shire of Dardanup is once again calling on local young artists to get creative, with the popular Veolia Truck Wrap Artwork Competition set to return this year.
Primary school-aged students from across the Shire are invited to design an eye-catching artwork that promotes the importance of recycling and helps educate the community about what belongs in the yellow-lidded recycling bin.
The winning artwork will earn its creator a $200 gift card and the unique opportunity to have their design professionally wrapped onto a local waste collection truck, transforming it into a moving work of art seen throughout the community.
The competition gives young residents the chance to see their artwork come to life in a truly unique way. Not only could the winning design be seen travelling throughout the Shire, but it will also help educate the community about the importance of recycling correctly and keeping contamination out of recycling bins.
