Traffic signals coming to Eaton Drive and Glenhuon Boulevard

Published on Sunday, 8 June 2025 at 8:03:44 PM

The Shire of Dardanup is continuing its commitment to improving road safety and traffic management, with a slightly revised intersection that includes new traffic signals on the Eaton Drive and Glenhuon Boulevard intersection.

WCP Civil has been appointed to carry out the works, which are scheduled to start on Monday, 9 June 2025, and are expected to be completed by August 2025.

We understand this project adds to the ongoing activity along Eaton Drive — one of our busiest roads — and we sincerely thank the community for your continued patience and understanding as we upgrade important infrastructure in the area.

Project details:

  • Day works: 7am to 5pm.
  • Night works (late July): 8pm to 5am.
  • Traffic management: In place throughout the project to minimise disruptions.

During day works, Glenhuon Boulevard will be periodically closed at the intersection with Eaton Drive remaining open under traffic control.

As the project nears completion, night works in late July will require a full closure of Eaton Drive at the Glenhuon Boulevard intersection over one week. Detours will be in place during this time.

Eaton Drive and Cudliss Street Intersection Upgrade Project

These works coincide with the Eaton Drive and Cudliss Street Intersection Upgrade Project, which is also currently underway and expected to take approximately 10 weeks to complete.

The Shire will continue to provide updates on road closures and traffic changes as the works progress.

For more information about the project or traffic management plan, please contact the Shire’s Project Engineer, James Reilly, on (08) 9724 0000.
