The Shire of Dardanup has been busy topdressing the field using an organic-based compost as part of essential maintenance to improve turf health and soil quality.
Why are we doing this?Topdressing offers a range of long-term benefits for our ovals, including:
While there may be a temporary earthy smell due to the compost, rest assured it will fade over the next few days once irrigation is reinstated – and the benefits far outweigh the short-term inconvenience.
