Road improvement works will soon commence on sections of Hamilton Road and Hale Street, as part of the Shire’s ongoing commitment to maintaining safe and functional local roads.

Works are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, 2 June on Hamilton Road and are expected to be completed by Monday, 8 June, weather permitting.

The project will include:

• Concrete kerb replacements at targeted locations.
• Raising of Water Corporation drain lids in preparation for upcoming asphalt overlay works in the coming weeks.

Traffic management will be in place throughout the construction period, with additional consideration given to school zone traffic during peak times to minimise disruption and maintain safety.

Motorists are encouraged to follow all signage and allow extra travel time while works are underway.

The Shire thanks the community for its patience as these important maintenance works are completed.
