We received an industry high score for boat ramp facilities during our 2021 Community Satisfaction Survey when compared to other local governments across the State.

And now we’ve made our Eaton Boat Ramp on Pratt Road even better!

New Boat Washdown Facilities have now been installed following a funding allocation by the State Government of $18,000 toward the project. Sincere thanks to Collie Preston MLA Jodie Hanns for her advocacy on our behalf with regard to this project.

Shire of Dardanup President Mick Bennett said the boat washdown facilities would be a welcome addition to the Eaton boat ramp which have also benefited from a $180,000 upgrade involving replacement of the old timber wharf with a modern floating structure and universally accessible platform area.

Final touches of lighting to the area will be added in coming weeks in line with results of our 2021 Community Satisfaction Survey which recorded ‘Lighting of streets and public places’ as among the Top 10 priorities identified.

The Shire of Dardanup reminds users of the new washdown facilities to be water-conscious.
