The Shire of Dardanup has extended the Prohibited Burning Period, which will now remain in place until midnight on Friday, 10 April 2026.

This decision, made in accordance with the Bush Fires Act, reflects ongoing fire risk conditions and the need to prioritise community safety.

During this period, all open burning remains strictly prohibited, including the burning of garden waste and other open fires.

The extension aims to reduce the risk of bushfires and ensure the safety of residents and properties across the Shire.

The Shire thanks the community for their continued cooperation and encourages everyone to remain vigilant.
