Townhouse Coffee Co and Café has arrived in the Shire of Dardanup’s new Library, Administration and Community Building, adding a vibrant new offering to the heart of Eaton.
Shire President Cr Tyrrell Gardiner said the café, which will officially open on Monday, 16 February, marked an exciting milestone for the building and the broader Eaton town centre.
“This building was designed to be more than just a library or administration centre, it’s a place where people come together,” Cr Gardiner said.
“Having Townhouse Coffee Co and Café open its doors brings that vision to life and strengthens the sense of community we’re creating in Eaton.”
Cr Gardiner congratulated Kylie and her team on the café’s opening, acknowledging the role they will play in shaping the atmosphere of the space.
“Kylie and her team bring passion, quality and a strong community focus, and we’re thrilled to see them activate this café space. We look forward to watching it become a favourite meeting spot for locals.”
The café complements the growing activity within the precinct, which is being further enhanced by the $100 million Citygate redevelopment at Eaton Fair, located next door.
Cr Gardiner said together, these investments are transforming Eaton into a vibrant, connected destination that supports local business, services and community life.
“With major public and private investment happening side by side, Eaton is entering a new chapter,” Cr Gardiner said.
“The café, community hub and Citygate redevelopment are all part of a bigger picture, creating a thriving town centre that meets the needs of our growing community now and into the future.”
Cr Gardiner said the Shire is still seeking a tenant for a commercial tenancy on Level One of the Library, Administration and Community Building.
He said the space presents an excellent opportunity for a business or service that aligns with the building’s community-focused purpose and the evolving Eaton precinct.
