Residents are invited to help shape a healthier, safer and more connected future by providing feedback on the Shire of Dardanup's Draft Public Health Plan 2026-2030.
The Public Health Plan will guide how the Shire supports community wellbeing over the next five years, identifying priorities and actions that help create healthy environments and improve quality of life for everyone who lives, works and visits the region.
Community members can share their ideas by completing a short online survey or attending one of three community workshops being held across the Shire in late August.
Shire President Cr Tyrrell Gardiner encouraged residents to get involved and ensure the plan reflects the needs and aspirations of the community.
"Public health is about much more than healthcare. It's about creating places and opportunities that support people to live healthy, active and connected lives," Cr Gardiner said.
"Whether your priorities are safe roads, access to parks and open spaces, mental health and wellbeing, food safety or community connection, we want to hear from you."
"This is an opportunity for residents to help shape the Shire's public health priorities for the next five years and ensure we're focusing on the issues that matter most to our community."
Join a community workshop in your area
- Dardanup – Monday, 24 August, 6-7.30pm:
Dardanup Hall, 19 Ferguson Road, Dardanup.
- Eaton – Tuesday, 25 August 6-7.30pm:
Eaton Football Club, 1 Council Drive, Eaton.
- Burekup – Thursday, 27 August, 6-7.30pm:
Burekup Hall, Russell Road, Burekup.
No bookings are required. Residents can simply attend the session that best suits them.
For those unable to attend in person, a written summary of each workshop will be published afterwards, allowing people to review the information and provide feedback during the consultation period.
