Feedback sought on BORR roadworks

The Shire of Dardanup is seeking feedback from the community regarding a series of measures to be undertaken in February and March by the Southern Gateway Alliance where there are local roads connecting to its construction of the Bunbury Outer Ring Road network.

WIRELESS ROAD

Temporary Road Closure and changed traffic conditions.

Traffic conditions on and around Wireless Road will be altered due to a temporary road closure. This closure and associated road network detours will be in effect from February 2022 to allow for upgrades to local roads, and roads connecting to the Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR) network.

Wireless Road will remain accessible to local traffic only during this closure. From February 2022 to March 2023, Wireless Road will be closed between South Western Highway and Harris Road.

The closure of Wireless Road is concurrent with the permanent closure of Bell Road and St Helena Road, and the temporary closure of Harris Road.

HARRIS ROAD

Temporary Road Closure and changed traffic conditions.

Traffic conditions on and around Harris Road will be altered due to a temporary road closure.

This closure and associated road network detours will be in effect from February 2022 to allow for upgrades to local roads, and roads connecting to the Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR) network.

Harris Road will remain accessible to local traffic only during this closure. From February 2022 to March 2023, Harris Road will be closed between Damiani Italiano Road and Waterloo Road, and Waterloo Road and Dowdells Line.

Please see the map below which outlines required detours in the area. All works will be completed by the South West Gateway Alliance. The closure of Harris Road is concurrent with the permanent closure of Bell Road and St Helena Road, and the temporary closure of Wireless Road.

BELL ROAD/ST HELENA ROAD

Permanent Road Closure and changed traffic conditions.

Bell Road and St Helena Road are to be permanently closed. Both roads will have a cul-de-sac constructed and will be accessible to local traffic only. This closure will take effect from February 2022 to allow for upgrades to local roads, and roads connecting to the Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR) network.

The closure of Bell Road and St Helena Road is concurrent with the temporary closure of Wireless Road and Harris Road.

For a more detailed map showing detours in place, please refer the Public Notices regarding the works located on this page of our website.

The Shire is requesting input from the community and welcomes feedback regarding the planned works. Submissions will be accepted until 13 January 2022.

Please forward your submissions or enquiries to the Shire of Dardanup by emailing records@dardanup.wa.gov.au
