Disability Access and Inclusion Plan consultation now open!

Published on Thursday, 9 March 2023 at 2:44:38 PM

The Shire of Dardanup is reviewing its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) and we would like to hear from our community – particularly people living with disability, their carers and other support people.

A DAIP is an important plan Council uses to guide decision-making on issues related to disability, access and inclusion within the Shire of Dardanup.  It provides people with disability the opportunity to fully participate and access all aspects of our community including programs, events, places, services and facilities.

We want to understand the Shire of Dardanup’s performance on disability, access and inclusion as seen by our community. Your feedback will help us improve access and inclusion, while working towards removing existing barriers experienced by people with disability. The DAIP will drive short, medium and long-term targeted actions  the Shire of Dardanup can work towards achieving into the future.

If you would like to share your feedback, please click the link below. Alternatively, easy read format and hard copy surveys are available from Shire of Dardanup, Administration Centre, Eaton; Dardanup Office, Eaton Recreation Centre and Eaton Community Library or by emailing Cassandra Budge, Manager Community Development at cassandra.budge@dardanup.wa.gov.au
