Are you a community group or sporting club with an idea that could benefit others?

Round 1 of Council’s 2022/23 Community & Event Grants are now open.

From community groups representing a range of sports like wheelchair basketball, horseriding and mountain biking to hobbyists involved in gardening and local history to support service providers to toy libraries, schools and playgroups and service clubs.

A wide range of local community champions have received a boost to their efforts via the grants scheme in the past and you could be next!

Community grants are available for projects and activities within the Shire of Dardanup that:

  • Foster the distinctiveness of places through the personalisation of community areas
  • Activate public places
  • Build the skills and capacity of the community
  • Leave a lasting positive impact on the community
  • Promote accessibility and inclusivity for all members of the community
  • Empower groups to be proactive in the community

There are three levels of support available and you can read more detail plus find an application form by visiting our dedicated Grants page.

Applications for Levels 2 & 3 close 16 September and will be assessed at Council’s Ordinary Meeting on 26 October. Projects seeking funding support should not commence until you have been notified of your application outcome.

To discuss an idea or your application, please phone the Place & Community Officer on 9724 0000.
