One of the Shire of Dardanup’s most-loved community events is back this Friday, 5 December with Christmas in the Park set to bring festive cheer to Burekup Oval.
Shire President Cr Tyrrell Gardiner said patrons can look forward to a relaxed evening filled with entertainment, activities and Christmas spirit from 5pm to 7.30pm.
Cr Gardiner said the Shire is proud to provide events that connect the community.
“Christmas in the Park is a much-loved community tradition and one of the most popular events in our Summer Vibes line-up,” Cr Gardiner said.

“With more than 17 free events across the season, Summer Vibes is all about bringing people together, celebrating our community, and making the most of the warmer months.
“We look forward to seeing families and friends come along and enjoy another wonderful evening in Burekup.”
Christmas in the Park will feature performances from the Philharmonic Southwest (Youth) Orchestra “Sinfonietta”, Tartan Tempest, and the Bel Canto Choir, bringing festive music and vibrant community energy to the heart of Burekup.
The event will include face painting, ornament decorating, Ronnie the Train rides, a chance to meet Santa for a festive photo in the Christmas corner, artisan stalls and food trucks.
“With warm weather expected and plenty of festive fun planned, the Shire encourages residents and visitors alike to bring a picnic rug or chairs and enjoy an evening outdoors,” Cr Gardiner said.
