Are you planning to do a bit of burning off at your property?

A one-minute phone call to the DFES Communications Centre (9395 9209) to let them know about your burn could save our volunteer bushfire brigades countless hours in wasted effort.

At this time of year, DFES receives lots of emergency calls via 000 reporting fires which upon an incident response by brigades turn out to be just a burn-off and a false alarm.

Information provided to DFES is uploaded to the Emergency WA website, a one stop shop for all hazard notifications including road accidents, bushfire, storm and prescribed burns.
