Not really a social media user and rarely visit websites or receive emails? But you would still like to stay up-to-date with what is happening in your local community?

You might like to join the mailing list of residents receiving one or both of our available text message services.

Every second Monday morning, residents who have signed up receive a text message from us with 5 Friendly Reminders. Things like bulk rubbish collection dates, special events or opportunities to provide input.

And only on an as-needed basis, our Senior Ranger Murray Halden sends out text message notifications related to Fire Management – Total Fire Bans, Harvest & Heavy Vehicle Movement Bans, Fire Inspection dates and reminders of Prohibited and/or Restricted Burn Periods.

Very handy for our rural residents in particular!
