The Shire of Dardanup wishes to advise the community of changes to services and facilities for the ANZAC Day public holiday on Monday, 27 April 2026.
Library, Administration and Community Buildings
The following facilities will be closed on Monday, 27 April 2026:
- Shire Administration Offices.
- Eaton and Dardanup Libraries.
- Community Building (Eaton).
- Dardanup Office.
Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.
Please note that both libraries and the Mick Bennett Make‑It Space will also be closed on Saturday, 25 April 2026 (ANZAC Day).
Eaton Recreation Centre
The Eaton Recreation Centre will be closed on Saturday, 25 April (ANZAC Day) and Monday, 27 April 2026 (ANZAC Day public holiday).
Please note:
- There will be no group fitness classes on Saturday, 25 April and Monday, 27 April.
- The gym remains accessible 24/7 for eligible members
Waste collection
Veolia will continue all scheduled waste collections over the ANZAC Day period.
If your bin is missed, please contact Veolia on 1800 260 033.
Waste Transfer Station and Recycle Tip Shop
The Dardanup Waste Transfer Station and Recycle Tip Shop (Banksia Road) will be closed on Saturday, 25 April 2026 (ANZAC Day). It is open on the public holiday Monday, 27 April 2026.
- Opening hours: 8am to 4pm
- Last load accepted at 3.45pm
Emergency contact information
For urgent Shire‑related matters during the public holiday, please contact the after‑hours Rangers service on (08) 9724 0000 (24 hours).
Calls will be directed to a call centre operator, who will notify a duty ranger if required. This service is for emergency matters only.
The Shire thanks residents for their understanding and encourages the community to take time to reflect and commemorate ANZAC Day.
Dardanup ANZAC Day services
All are welcome to join the Dardanup community this Saturday, 25 April 2026.
- Dawn service: 6am at the Dardanup War Memorial, Little Street.
- Main service: 9am at the Dardanup War Memorial, Little Street.
The main service begins with a march departing the Old Convent car park at 9.00am sharp.
Morning tea to follow in the hall, please bring a plate to share. Complimentary sausage sizzle courtesy of the Dardanup Lions Club.
In the case of inclement weather, services will be held in the Dardanup Hall. Organised by the Dardanup and Districts Residents Association.
