Supporting access and inclusion in everyday business

Wednesday 6th May 2026

This one-hour workshop is designed for business owners, managers, and teams who want to build disability awareness and create more accessible, inclusive workplaces.

Right now, people are walking past your business, scrolling past your services, or choosing other options, not because what you offer isn’t good, but because it isn’t accessible. With 20% of Australians living with disability, that’s one in five people, this represents a significant and often overlooked part of your customer base, workforce, and community.

In this session, you’ll gain a clear understanding of disability, what accessibility looks like in practice, and how to apply it in everyday interactions. You’ll learn practical ways to improve communication, recognise and address bias, and make your workplace more inclusive.

Grounded in the 7 principles of universal design, this workshop gives you simple, actionable strategies to create better experiences for more people.
