Ryde Program - Driving Simulator
Past Event

For these school holidays we are excited to welcome the team from RYDE South West and their Driving Simulator Trailer to the Shire.
The Regional Youth Driver Education Program or RYDE is an awesome initiative that gives young people the opportunity to complete their 50 hours of supervised driving experience with a Ryde Driving Mentor. To help get the word out the team have an interactive full tech simulator to help young people navigate the tips and tricks of driving a car.
Come along and chat to the crew about support in reaching your L Plates and navigating the world of driving.
We will be hosting the RYDE Simulator Trailer in two locations over the school holidays - bookings are not required and multiple turns are encouraged!
They will also be bringing along a in-person maze (no driving required!) but ... to get through the maze you have to wear the bobble goggles (fatigue goggles) which simulates trying to drive tired.
Suitable for ages 10 and over (must be able to reach the pedals!)
WHEN AND WHERE:
Tuesday 26 September from 1.00-3.00pm at BUREKUP OVAL (next to the Skatepark)
Tuesday 3 October from 1.00-3.00pm at the EATON SKATEPARK (parking area next to Boomers Pavilion)
