Join us for an exciting and family-friendly session as we explore the awe-inspiring world of whales – the gentle giants of the ocean!
π What to Expect:
- We will be joined by the fantastic whale expert Chris Burton for this month's Plant Matters session
- Discover the different types of whales and their amazing adaptations
- Learn a bit about how whales communicate, what they eat, and their vital role in the marine ecosystem
- Understand the threats they face, including plastic pollution and climate change, and how we can help protect them
- Learn how we can be involved in helping protect these gentle giants in our oceans.
π¨ Bonus for Kids: A fun and educational craft activity will be available to engage our younger ocean lovers, leaving you to soak up all the information you can!
β Refreshments: Tea and coffee will be available.
If you require alternative milk or tea options, please feel free to bring your own.
