🌊🐢 Marine Turtle Info Session 🐢🌊

Join us for an engaging Marine Turtle Info Session presented by the Brilliant Dolphin Discovery Centre! Learn about the incredible world of marine turtles, the amazing work being done at their new turtle rehabilitation centre, and what steps you can take if you ever come across a washed-up turtle. This session is especially important as we enter the time of year when turtles are most likely to strand on local shores. Whether you're interested in marine conservation or simply want to learn how to help, this session is perfect for families and all ages (5+). Don't miss out on this opportunity to get informed and make a difference in protecting our local turtles!

Thursday 12th June

4:00-5:00pm

Join us as we dive deep into the world of whales – the gentle giants of the ocean! In this Planet Matters session, we’ll explore different types of whales, their incredible adaptations, and the important role they play in the marine ecosystem.
Discover how whales communicate, what they eat, and how we can help protect them from threats like plastic pollution and climate change.
A related craft activity will be available to help engage our younger audience members.
All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend – families, children, and ocean lovers of all kinds!
