2026/27 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - CENTRE SUPERVISORS

Eaton Recreation Centre (ERC) is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused and motivated leaders to join our Expression of Interest Pool for Centre Supervisor opportunities working primarily weekends and some weeknight evenings.

As a Centre Supervisor, you'll play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, supporting staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to a safe, welcoming and well-managed recreation facility.

 

About the Role

Overseeing Centre operations including stadium (sporting programs, services and hire groups), gym, group fitness, customer service, café, memberships and children’s programs, whilst supervising, assisting and developing staff on shift, to ensure smooth and safe operations. Responsible for open and close activities and processes, including routine set up, pack down and banking and ensuring venue presentation is of the highest standard, actioning cleaning responsibilities as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • High School diploma or equivalent; additional education or leadership training is highly regarded.
  • Experience supervising staff and achieving outcomes through a hands-on leadership approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including conflict resolution and customer service.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and support others in using new systems and technology.
  • Current Provide First Aid certificate, CPR, Working with Children check and National Police Clearance.
  • Previous experience in a local government recreation facility or similar environment and experience using leisure management and point-of-sale systems will be highly regarded.
  • Availability and willingness to work primarily weekends and some weeknight evenings.

 

About the Expression of Interest Pool:

This pool allows you to register your interest for future opportunities at ERC. Applications will remain active until 30 June 2027, and suitable applicants may be contacted as vacancies arise.  Please note this is not a recruitment process for a specific vacancy.
