It’s the beginning of an era for the Eaton Library Service, which is relocating to the new Shire of Dardanup Library, Administration and Community Building in late March.
Currently located at 2 Sanford Way, Eaton, the Library will close its doors from Friday, 22 March 2024 and reopen at its new location at Eaton Fair Shopping Centre along Council Drive on Tuesday, 26 March.
The newly completed two-storey timber construction will be a community hub and house the Eaton Library, Council Chambers, Administration Centre, Make-it Space and other mixed-use community spaces.
The L-shape design means the Library will feature a courtyard with an outdoor play area for children, patron seating and shared alfresco area with the café hub included in the library.
