From Monday, October 28 to Saturday, November 2, 2024, the Shire of Dardanup will conduct its Spring Green Waste Collection.
Here are the details you need to know:
Accepted items:
- Tree and shrub cuttings up to 2 cubic metres
- Maximum length of 1.5 meters
- Maximum diameter of 200mm
Items we cannot collect:
- Lawn clippings or roll-on turf
- Green waste in bags or boxes
- Hard waste including timber
- Stumps
- Excessively large piles of green waste (greater than 2 cubic metres)
Important guidelines:
- All green waste must be placed on the verge by 6am on the first collection day. Exact collection days and times cannot be provided.
- 100% of collected green waste is recycled into compost.
- Ensure waste is clear of reticulation, water mains, electrical domes, footpaths, street signs, and street corners.
- Property owners are responsible for maintaining waste piles safely and ensuring they do not cause litter.
- Waste should only be placed on the owner’s property. Uncollected material remains the owner’s responsibility for removal.
- Streets will be serviced once. Green waste placed out after the collection date or not collected must be removed by the owner.
