Ward D by Freida McFadden

Published by popular author, Freida McFadden, Ward D is a twisty thriller that kept me guessing till the very end. The author writes brilliant mysteries, so it is not surprising that one of her books, The Housemaid, has been turned into a move coming out this December.

This month’s community book recommendation is from Jui.

The Orphan of Salt Winds by Elizabeth Brooks

Set over two time periods in the life of Virgina, present day (2015) and 1929 – 1941. The two stories are interwoven. There are little clues along the way to pick up. When a girl appears in 2015 Salt Winds, the two stories collide. Set in a secluded house on the edge of the marsh. Beautifully written and very atmospheric, when I finished it I wanted to start it again!
