These school holidays, enjoy free activities for children, teens, and families at Eaton Community Library! Drop in for daily fun or join one of our special events.

Search the library to discover hidden clues and complete our fun holiday treasure hunt! Each clue will lead you closer to the final surprise.


๐ŸŽจ Craft Box – Ages 8+

Available daily
Our older kids and adults craft box is filled with creative activities including crochet, mindful colouring, and more. Come in anytime and enjoy crafting with friends.


๐Ÿงฉ LEGO & Games

Available daily | All ages
Enjoy building with LEGO or play a board game during your library visit — available all day, every day throughout the school holidays!


โœ‹ Tactile Tuesdays

Every Tuesday during the holidays | All ages
Join us in the Library Garden for fun sensory play! Explore slime, playdough, chia-seed goo and more — all taste safe (may contain flour).
A low-sensory zone will also be available inside with soft play and calming sounds.

Enjoy stories, songs and a themed craft each week.

  • 8 Jan – Sun Smart Story Time
    Cancer Council WA will read A Simply Spectacular Hat by Libby Gleeson and share summer sun safety tips.

  • 15 Jan – Theatrical Story Time: Where is the Green Sheep?
    Presented by performers from Monkey Baa Theatre Company and QPAC's Out of the Box co-production. A lively performance of this much-loved classic. To fins out more about the show to to BREC website - www.bunburyentertainment.com

  • 22 Jan – World Religion Day Story Time
    We will read What Do You Celebrate? and make a fun cultural craft.

  • 29 Jan – Keipa Boodja Story Time

  • 5 Jan – Smiling Starts
