Connected Community BBQ
Connected Community BBQs are coming to a location near you this spring!
A brand new series of free events by the Shire of Dardanup involving a good old fashioned outdoor sausage sizzle, with ambient live entertainment will bring people together in a relaxed atmosphere to connect and learn about topics that matter.
Each month there will be special guests presenting and sharing information to spark conversation about community programs and services on a range of health and wellbeing themes.
Our first Connected Community BBQ is on Thursday 10 November at the Eaton Community Library garden (weather permitting).
Our November event will feature special guests, the South West Cancer Council and Dot’s Place speaking about the “Find Cancer Early Campaign”.
This campaign is delivered by the Cancer Council WA to improve cancer outcomes of regional West Australians. This is achieved by increasing cancer symptom awareness and encouraging people to visit their doctor, clinic nurse or Aboriginal health worker early.
This free event is provided by the Shire of Dardanup.
No bookings required, first in best dressed for the free sausage sizzle.
* Please be aware photographs will be taken at the event for future promotion and marketing purposes by the Shire of Dardanup, if you do not wish your photo to be taken, please speak to one of our event staff on the day.
