Public Notice - Green Waste Collection

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Shire of Dardanup will be conducting a GREEN WASTE collection for RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES in the townsites of Eaton, Millbridge, Burekup and Dardanup, between the following dates:

Monday 13^th May 2024 – Saturday 18^th May 2024

 WE WILL COLLECT:                

• Tree and Shrub cuttings
• Maximum length 1.5 m
• Maximum diameter 200 mm
• Maximum volume 2 m³

All green waste is processed into mulch – as such no waste material will be collected. The property owner is responsible for maintaining the waste piles in a safe condition and in a manner that does not cause litter.                                          

WE CANNOT COLLECT: Tree Stumps, Rollout Turf, Lawn Clippings or Timber.  Green waste that is placed in bags or boxes will not be collected.                       

Please place your waste a minimum of 1.5 m from the road and away from services such as water meters, power domes and reticulation. Green Waste is to be placed out for collection by 7.00am on Monday 13 May 2024 and no earlier than Monday 6 May 2024. Areas will only be serviced once.  Council is not able to provide details on the exact times or days when the collection will be in any specific area.

Council reserves the right to refuse to collect unsuitable materials.
