PERMANENT ROAD CLOSURES & CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS
Harris Road, Waterloo Road and Moore Road – BORR LOCAL CONNECTING ROAD UPGRADES
JUNE and SEPTEMBER 2024

Section 3.50 Local Government Act 1995

The Shire of Dardanup hereby gives notice to the public that traffic conditions on and around Harris Road will be altered due to a permanent road closure, demonstrated on the map attached. The permanent closure of a portion of Harris Road will be in effect from June 2024 to allow for construction of the Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR).
Brysinda Road will open prior to the permanent closure of Harris Road. This will provide an alternative east-west connection between Discovery Road and Martin-Pelusey Road.
Harris Road east of BORR will be renamed Fusion Road.

From October, portions of Waterloo Road will also be permanently closed.
Waterloo Road will be realigned to create a new connection with South Western Highway and the BORR interchange (see map attached).

Also from October, Moore Road current connection to Bunbury Outer Ring Road will be permanently closed and realigned to Boyanup-Picton Road.

All works will be completed by the South West Gateway Alliance on behalf of Main Roads Western Australia.

The Shire is requesting input from the community and welcomes feedback regarding the planned works. Submissions will be accepted until 4:00pm, Thursday 6 June 2024.
