The next Local Government Election is on October 19, 2019 and nominations open for one week on Thursday, September 5.
Dardanup Shire Council will have 4 vacancies open.
Nominations must be lodged by the closing date with Returning Officer Caroline Cousins.

There are many reasons why people stand for council. The sense of satisfaction from serving the community, increased knowledge about the operation of government, improved confidence in public speaking and the chance to play an important role in the changes occurring within your community.
Elections are held in October ever two years, with members elected for a 4 year term.

If you would like to become a Candidate in the upcoming Local Government Election, you will need to complete mandatory online training prior to nominating.
