Walk on the Wild Side at the Eaton Foreshore

Sunday 26th March 11:00am – 2:00pm

Eaton Foreshore (near playground)

Please ensure all pets are restrained appropriately.  All pooches must be leashed.

Take a Sunday walk on the wild side and get up close and personal with creatures tall, small, clawed and pawed! Whether an animal owner or an animal lover this is a day for you and you can be sure there will be something for everyone-feathered and fur children included!

Head on down to the foreshore to enjoy the many free activities on offer. Would you like to learn more about pet health? Understanding your dog? How about birds of prey? Or what life is like caring for exotic parrots?  For those with handsome pets visit the caricature artist and get a pet and owner portrait!

Not a pet owner? No problem, there will be plenty of animals to love at the traveling farm where you can brush, feed and cuddle a variety of furry and fluffy animals… And let’s not forget our scaly friends… Would you dare to hold a python? If those that slither make you shiver you may prefer to get up close and personal with the exotic birds such as Tiberius the macaw who’s talent has taken him to Chanel  10’s The Project…or how about snapping a selfie with a koala?

This is a day to meet, greet, learn, watch or just sit back and relax.  There will be demonstrations, presentations and displays.  Bring your pets, friends, family, camera, something to sit on (chair or picnic blanket)  and most importantly a love for animals! Food and drink will be available to purchase.
