Upgrades coming to Peninsula Lakes Park!

Shire Staff in collaboration with members of Council’s new Eaton Advisory Group have prepared a draft plan for staged improvements to Peninsula Lakes Park in Parkridge Estate.

Now we would like to make sure the wider community is happy with the direction so Council is asking users of Peninsula Lakes Park to have a look over the draft Master Plan and provide feedback.

Council has allocated $61,200 in its 2020/21 Budget for Stage 2 improvements to the park with priorities identified to include:

  • New birds nest style swing
  • New playground shade sails
  • New seating near playground
  • New kickaround goals
  • Additional plantings

A third stage of improvements to the park is planned for coming years and will be guided by community input provided during this consultation.

Providing your input on Council decision-making has never been easier or more convenient with our exciting new online tool called ‘Connect’ which uses a community engagement platform called Social PinPoint.

Think Facebook, meets Pinterest meets Google Earth.

Now sharing your ideas, providing input and indicating your level of support is as easy as posting a comment on social media.
