THINK Positive again this Christmas and WIN!

For the fourth year in a row, the Shire of Dardanup is sending a wave of Positive Vibes through our community for Christmas.

We’re encouraging you to THINK Positive, share your Positive thoughts and WIN!

All entries go into a draw for the chance to win one of TWO $100 Eaton Fair Shopping Centre Gift Vouchers we’re giving away.

How handy would an extra $100 be before Christmas? And entering is so EASY!

To be in the prize draw, email (records@dardanup.wa.gov.au) or FB message us with a sentence or two outlining your Positive Vibes for the day and please include the suburb in which you live. We’ll share them on our Facebook page every day during December to brighten your day.

Open to anyone (except our Councillors, staff and their families). Enter as many times as you like.

Winners will be contacted and announced on our Facebook page on Friday, December 20.

What’s a POSITIVE VIBE?

  • It might be an amazing customer service experience!
  • A shout-out to a loved one for a kindness they have shown you recently;
  • A community group or volunteer who blows you away with their selfless contributions;
  • Maybe you really enjoyed visiting a local facility or tourist attraction today;
  • Or just share some simple words of gratitude.

We’re not fussy! We just want Positive Vibes ONLY. Here’s some examples we received last year to help get you thinking…

Sunseet Sharma, Eaton:

I got my positive vibe of the day from this girl who works at Bakers Delight. As I am new to the country and 33 weeks pregnant. In 28th week of pregnancy I got to know that I have gestational diabetes. When me and my husband go out, we are always searching for vegetarian (as I am vegetarian), sugar free and gluten free options to eat. One of the girls was so nice that she checked with the baker what all ingredients are there in their bread and offered me a free loaf of bread to try it out. Made my day. Thank you to Bakers Delight for such a kind customer service.

Marlene Blackwood, Glen Iris

A massive thank you and farewell to Bridget from the Eaton Child Health Centre, you have been there for so many new families finding their way through the crazy life that is parenthood. Your warm smile will truly be missed and the families at Kingston are so lucky to have you. Merry Christmas to all the amazing staff and families at Eaton Family Centre.

Cass Pipe, Treendale:

Love that the warmer weather is bringing all of our neighbours out and spending more time in their front gardens. Love the chats and shared cuppas over fence with those that we live closest to. Really strengthens our sense of community.

Apes Mitch, Eaton:

Upon moving to Eaton 3 years ago with Blu Belle, my energetic Staffy, I wanted to find somewhere for her to play and swim off lead. We found Watson’s Reserve. We love it and have made some wonderful lifetime friends there. We started a Facebook page to help meet like-minded walkers and we now have over 200 members that come and meet us every day to enjoy the scenery.
From all people and pooches at Watsons Reserve Dog Walkers, Thank You Shire of Dardanup.
