Did you receive your ‘Be Prepared’ postcard from us?
As well as a handy reference for important dates around burn restrictions, it’s your reminder that summer is coming and it is time to prepare your property.
We all have a role to play in preventing a fire emergency.
Fire prevention measures must be completed and all properties (including residential, commercial, industrial and vacant land) cleared of fire hazards on or before 30 November each year to reduce the risk of fires during the bushfire season. Properties must remain free of hazard until the close of the Restricted Burning Period.
Shire of Dardanup Rangers commence property inspections on 1 December each year to ensure all properties comply with the Fire Prevention Order.
You can read the full Fire Prevention Order on this page of our website.
