Volunteers are the backbone of our community and without the contribution of their time, skills and knowledge we would not enjoy the wonderful, thriving community that we have become so accustomed to living in.
The Shire of Dardanup is inviting its volunteers and the wider community to come together at an event on Sunday, May 27 to thank our volunteers for their commitment and positive contributions.
This will be a chance for recognition of our volunteers and a celebration of their achievements.
To ensure individual volunteers receive the recognition they deserve, volunteers wishing to attend our event are asked to notify Culture & Community Services Officer Melanie Serra on 9724 0354 or email Melanie.Serra@dardanup.wa.gov.au
There is no need for community members to RSVP.
Where: Softball Pavilion, Recreation Drive, Eaton
Time: 11.00am to 1.30pm
Morning tea and live entertainment will be provided along with a bouncy castle for children and a demonstration by Eaton-Australind Fire & Rescue.
Several community and volunteer groups will also provide displays and information.
This Shire of Dardanup Event is being held to coincide with National Volunteer Week – Give a little. Change a lot.
