Project Update: Eaton Bowling Club Redevelopment

Eaton Bowling Club/Eaton Senior Citizens/Pratt Road Carpark redevelopment

We’re making changes to the Pratt Road carpark that will complement and enhance the current $3.3 million transformation of the Eaton Bowling Club into an exciting new Community Hub.

Design features of the new carpark include:

  • Traffic calming on Pratt Road in the area between Foster Street and Bobin Street
  • Modernisation and improved river views from the Community Hub
  • Additional carparking bays
  • Improved access between the Hub and the carpark with universal access throughout
  • Future landscape design features

If you have questions about planned improvements to the Pratt Road carpark or wish to see larger plans, please come along to our display at Eaton Recreation Centre on Wednesday, June 16 between 4.30pm and 6.00pm. Our Shire Staff will be available to chat about the project and answer your questions.

It is planned to commence works on Pratt Road and the carpark later this year.

The new Community Hub is being developed in partnership with the Eaton Bowling Club and Eaton Senior Citizens with funding support from the WA Government.

Construction is progressing well with concrete footings and slab in place. Installation of timber wall framing and bracing is underway which will be followed soon after by trusses and timber columns.

Completion of the building is expected in September.

Stay tuned to our website and social media channels as this landmark new facility takes shape.

Written submissions on the Pratt Road carpark plans can be emailed to records@dardanup.wa.gov.au until 4.00pm on Wednesday, June 23.
