Weed and declared pest Cape Tulip has been spotted within the Shire of Dardanup.
Landholders are being asked to keep an eye out for the problem plant and refer to the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development website for advice on control.
Cape Tulip is toxic to livestock and readily takes over pasture if left untreated.
Weed control in the Shire of Dardanup – with a particular focus on Cotton Bush control – is undertaken as a collaborative effort between the Shire, Leschenault Biosecurity Group and landholders.
